The Renault air suspension system

Renault's air suspension system, which is connected to the 4-control all-wheel steering, like most air suspension systems in vehicles, provides on the one hand better comfort and on the other hand more safety and stability of the vehicle on the road.

The full air suspension system for the Renault Master

The currently most innovative full air suspension system from Renault was developed by the Irish company Drive-Rite in cooperation with Renault and relies on the air bellows of the world market leader Firestone. This air suspension system compensates for the higher load with a correspondingly higher counterpressure in the bellows. This increased back pressure changes the response behaviour minimally, but not the accustomed height level. This generally means that the vehicle always has the same relationship between body and axle. Furthermore, the full air suspension system allows the vehicle to be raised and lowered. Such a raising and lowering is operated by pressing a button in the vehicle and was only made possible by the IntelliRide control system.

The Firestone air bellows ensure a longer life of the vehicle by reducing vibrations, minimizing the material and wear of the vehicle. These reductions automatically reduce the high noise levels in the vehicle. In addition, the full air suspension system ensures on the one hand less tyre wear and on the other hand optimal headlight adjustment for every load condition. This innovative full air suspension system from Renault offers greater comfort and safety on the road.

The additional air suspension system from Drive-Rite

The high-end solution for the air suspension system on Renault's side is the additional air suspension. In this system, special rolling or folding bellows with high air pressure supplement the steel suspension of the original model. This high-end solution provides more ground clearance, greater roll stability (in crosswinds and fast corners) and improved ride comfort compared to normal full air Suspension.
